As we kick off Hispanic Heritage Month, I'd like to celebrate and recognize the tremendous contributions made by our Hispanic colleagues. The diversity of our individual experiences and culture woven together make our community richer and stronger. And as a proud Colombian-American, I know that many of the values that I grow up with and still have are shared by many of you.
One of the values that we strive for here at the SFPUC is belonging. I want you all to know that I value each of you and I appreciate the hard work that you do here: you belong.
