We have reached a major milestone to ensure the reliability and resiliency of our stormwater system! The SFPUC recently completed the Wawona Area Stormwater Improvement and Vicente Street Water Main Replacement Project.
This project will help minimize storm-related flood risk for local residents and businesses in low-lying areas. We upgraded three different systems at once. We made a better sewer system, better drinking water system & better emergency firefighting system - all at the same time.
