Yes, I KNOW the anime is controversial and all BUT it fit the song perfectly, I felt like I just had to use it...
Gaga has made several songs (Paparazzi, Rain On Me, Do What You Want etc.) where she sings about the unpleasant / dangerous aspects of fame, ranging from ambition and obsession to a constant fear of failure, drugs and alcohol abuse, stalkers, exploitation.... you name it. There is a LOT of shit going on in the industry.
Perfect Celebrity feels the same to me; or at least it has a similar vibe. Basically I interpreted the song as Ill do anything for fame, even if I have to sell my body and dignity and as long as I stay rich, I dont care if you hate me. And honestly, I get it in a way. Once you go through a lot or struggle financially, at some point you just stop caring entirely about what others might think. You just do what you have to do and live on. Pride doesnt pay the bills, after all.
Sadly it seems like I was the only one who focused more on portraying the meaning of the song instead of just making my part look pretty. Now, I feel like it sticks out negatively in the MEP. Sorry if I ruined it for you. ;w; ♥
