It was great to hear His Majesty King Charles III (@royalchannel) mention fusion energy during his historic address to a joint meeting of Congress, delivered in the U.S. House of Representatives yesterday. The UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) is the UK's national fusion energy research organisation.

Our mission is to lead the delivery of sustainable fusion energy and maximise the scientific and economic benefits. We accelerate fusion energy research with a range of programmes covering plasma science, robotics, materials testing and development, and tritium science – developing the energy of tomorrow we need today.
