Pioneering photographers Hill & Adamson produced a remarkable body of work just four years after photography was announced to the world.

Their work had an enduring influence on photography worldwide and stands as one of the earliest and most important contributions to the artform.

This film, one in a series of three, looks at their portraiture work focusing on their process and the people who sat before their camera.
