After two failures to win the lottery for Angels Landing permits I figured I hike up to the base of Angels Landing then hike up the Rim Trail to get some views from above Angels Landing itself. After that I don my waterproof socks and see how far I can make it up the narrows. This time of year it's absolutely freezing and my feet do not do well in cold water so we'll just have to see what happens.

Believe it or not Zion National Park is the 3rd most visited park but because it's so much smaller than many of the other national parks it's the busiest national park. Get ready for the crowds even in late March.
