We knew the real crowds began at Sarria, about 100km from the finish. You see you can get a certificate that you finished the Camino de Santiago just by walking the last 100km and getting two stamps a day each day. Little did we know how it was really going to be.
Based on the information booths we visited it seems like it increased 50x and people were louder than ever before. People seemed to be riding taxis as well. It's become a crowd of what we call vacationers, just going somewhere for a week and doing whatever you want.
Galicia does introduce us to hórreos though! You'll see what they are.
The last 100km begins now... well, then we walk another 100km to Fisterra so not quite the end.
