Cedar Cove Hiking Trail is located 45km from Corner Brook on the South Shore Highway Route 450. This 1.8km trail is easy to moderate with spectacular scenery nestled between mountains. Excellent overnight natural camping area near stream running to the ocean. Trail ends at beautiful Cedar Cove. The beach boasts some of the best beachcombing in Western Newfoundland.
The Cedar Cove Hiking Trail will appeal to a wide range of hikers. Rated Easy to Moderate, the trail begins at Little Port and ends at the remote beach in Cedar Cove. The pond near the end in teeming with life and the beach is a fantastic spot to go whale watching.
