Route 15 exit 59 southbound at Route 69 on the New Haven / Woodbridge CT town line. This area has been reconstructed in the last few years including full signal replacement and conversion of a right turn slip lane into a signalized lane.

This signal is pretty neat and operates with multiple phase overlaps. The only totally exclusive phase is the gas station exit which is also the concurrent pedestrian crossing phase called by a pushbutton.

The signal itself is fairly efficient but there are still too many cars in the area and very closely spaced intersections which results in constant congestion. This intersection and possibly the whole interchange may be reconfigured in the future anyways based on current planning documents for this interchange and the Heroes Tunnel nearby.
