From @fermilab to #CERN

The #HiLumiLHC reaches a milestone with the arrival at CERN of the first cryo-assembly manufactured by the US collaboration. It arrived at CERN following an extensive journey by boat and truck from Fermilab, United States.

Watch a timelapse of the unboxing of the first of ten cryo-assemblies from the US to be installed in the HL-LHC interaction regions. This cryo-assembly is now being prepared for validation and testing, before integration into the #HighLuminosity #LHC Inner Triplet STRING at CERN.
