High Rigg My Final Wainwright! After 10 long and at times, hard years of getting up in the dark at 04.30, to drive to the Lakes, climb several Wainwrights and then drive home at all hours, it was bitter sweet to climb High Rigg My Final Wainwright, with so many amazing people who had come to support me. To say I was overwhelmed would be an understatement and I would like to thank every single one of them for turning out, especially when the weather forecast was so bad - so Thank YOU! I wanted High Rigg as my final Wainwright, as it is a family friendly fell and my beautiful Mrs Metalman could also come and complete my final Wainwright with me, which she did and that made it even more special :o).
