eMTB - the mere concept makes some recoil. Others see them as the great equalizer and a great thing for mountain biking. Wherever you stand on the acceptance one thing is for sure...they are different. Part of that is that they are high maintenance. An e mountain bike requires all the same maintenance and regular adjustments of a standard mechanical mtb...but they also have some very specific ADDITIONAL maintenance items. Some quite critical as I show in this video.
