The Schwarzschild-Couder Telescope is a brand new radio telescope planned to be a part of the Cherenkov Telescope Array. This telescope has two mirror surfaces that will help astronomers study Cherenkov radiation with higher precision than ever. The Schwarzschild-Couder prototype was constructed at VERITAS Observatory here in Arizona, so we took a trip up and talked to some experts for the inauguration of this revolutionary telescope.
