Chester Zoo welcomes two adorable Sumatran tiger cubs after hidden cameras capture this incredibly rare birth. The Zoo has shared the footage captured by hidden cameras within the enclosure at the Zoo in Chester, England. The twins were born to first time parents Sumatran tigers Kasarna and Dash, and the new family have since been bonding in their den. This birth is a huge step forward for conservation efforts as there are only 350 thought to be remaining in the wild and zookeepers were thrilled to welcome the two lively cubs. Dave Hall, Carnivore Team Manager at Chester Zoo, said: “We’ve been closely monitoring Kasarna on our CCTV cameras as she gets to grips with motherhood and her first litter of cubs – it’s a real privilege and incredibly special to watch.
