Storyline: Hiccup and Rapunzel have been together for a long time and Punzie can't think of any way for things to get better. The night before Hiccup's crowning as chief, they go on one of their usual 'flying dates.' At the coronation, Rapunzel waits in the crowd for Hiccup. Now that he's old enough to be chief, he's also old enough to marry, and she believes he'll ask her right after the ceremony. Instead, she's shocked and heartbroken to see Hiccup pull another girl, Astrid, in for a kiss. Hiccup sees Rapunzel flee and later finds her and tries to explain himself. When he was younger, his father introduced him to Astrid, explaining that he was betrothed to her and that they would marry once Hiccup was crowned chief. However, Hiccup wanted to grow up living his own life and fall in love with whomever he chose. He knew that he couldn't run from his responsibilities, but until that time came, he wanted to act as his own person. He tries to convince Rapunzel that he truly does love her, but she feels completely betrayed. They shared so much together but now everything seems like a total lie. She ends it right then and there, storming off and leaving Hiccup behind. Later, she's in her room thinking about everything that's happened.

This is my part for by bday mep which will be posted tomorrow! :D Originally I was going to do this part with hiccelsa, but then gave my part up a month or so ago because I was too busy and didnt think Id be able to finish it. Well turns out I needed to do a part as a backup anyway so hijack to the rescue! XD Since I only found out I needed to be a backup a few days ago, I had to tone down the ambitious ideas a LOT x) Due to this, its a lot less creative manip/storyline wise and I also skipped out on masking a couple clips because I had so little time. But anyway, its done so thats good.

Storyline: Hiccup is Jacks first and only believer. Theyve known each other for more than a few years and although they are very close, even bordering the line of a relationship, Jack still gets very upset over the fact he has no other believers. Not even animals can see him, so without any other believers he understandably gets very lonely when Hiccup isnt free to spend time with him. One night these feelings come to a head and when Hiccup tries to comfort Jack, he finally snaps at the brunette. How can you always say everything will be okay when youve never been in my situation? You have no idea what this kind of life is like. Jack leaves Hiccup behind, both thinking back to the first time Hiccup had noticed Jack wandering through the village.
The next day, Hiccup convinces Jack to meet him at the dragon sanctuary for a surprise. When Jack arrives, Hiccup tells him to try petting Toothless. Jack has done this in the past only to phase through the reptile so he is hesitant at first, but trusting Hiccups words, he reaches out towards Toothless. To his surprise and utter joy, Toothless meets his hand half way and his hand does not phase through. Hiccup has found a way to train Toothless to believe [idk how, its for plot] and Jack couldnt be happier to have another believer. Hiccup and Jack look out into the sanctuary and start a pleasant conversation, still high on the happiness from their new discovery.
Hiccup: So what dragon should we try to train next?
Jack: The bewilderbeast?
Hiccup: Babysteps, Jack, babysteps...
They were originally going to share a hug at the end, but lazy editor is lazy.

I think this is the quickest Ive EVER finished a mep part x) I felt so inspired by this song and theme of this mep I just couldnt help but keep working on it until it was done!!
Originally this was just going to be a bunch of manips of fairy Punzie but I HAD to include this story once I thought of it and it was also a lot of fun trying out new things! This is was my first time making 2D objects 3D, using texture/image transitions, and also the first time Ive ever done a head swap ;D

Storyline: In an enchanted forest bordering a peaceful kingdom, we see a young fairy playing with some water nymphs. When Hans journeys into the forest searching for his lost love, Rapunzel, he comes across the fairy. However, this fairy isnt nearly as innocent as she appears. In reality, she is a body snatcher. When humans wander into her forest, she casts a spell on them, turning them into loyal nymphs. She then takes on the form of that human until she finds another victim. What he doesnt know is that Rapunzel had been the body snatchers previous victim.
So when she turns and reveals that her face is the one hes searching for, he freezes on the spot in utter confusion. With Hans frozen in place, the fairy has enough time to cast her spell, changing Hans into a nymph and then taking on his form.

After I finish one more mep part with her, I never want to mask Astrid again... ever. Idk why but she was killer xD I thought shed be simple and fun but she was just a pain in the butt to mask. So Im not really 100% happy with this part. I tried redoing some clips/ switching out for new ones and yet I just felt like I couldnt get it right. It could just be anxiety cause its for a birthday mep but idk. As long as the birthday girl likes it Ill be happy but Im just iffy.

Rough storyline: Both Astrid & Nod are leaf men and are introduced to each other by Ronin. Of course they hit it off right away because theyre both fun-loving, adventurous, and downright sarcastic/sassy.

Storyline: Anya is wandering around the circus until she happens upon Jimbos wishing booth. Inside, she meets Jim who says he can grant any wish. She explains how earlier that day, she saw one of the dancers at the carnival. Anya had been so entranced by Esmeraldas dancing and beauty that she found herself falling in love. But Anya somehow knows that Esmeralda is not into girls, so she wishes for Jim to change her into a man. He agrees but, being a trickster, decides to switch their bodies. When Anya wakes up and sees herself standing in front of her, she freaks out. Jim explains that theres nothing wrong, Anya got what she wanted and he now has a different way to have fun. But Anya doesnt see the humor in their situation. She doesnt want some snot-nosed brat wandering around with her body, ruining her reputation. Now angry that his fun has been ruined, Jim does grant her wish and turns her into a man. However, as payment, he decides to take her eyesight so she can no longer be entranced by Esmeraldas dancing or beauty.
