Storyline: Anya is wandering around the circus until she happens upon Jimbo's wishing booth. Inside, she meets Jim who says he can grant any wish. She explains how earlier that day, she saw one of the dancers at the carnival. Anya had been so entranced by Esmeralda's dancing and beauty that she found herself falling in love. But Anya somehow knows that Esmeralda is not into girls, so she wishes for Jim to change her into a man. He agrees but, being a trickster, decides to switch their bodies. When Anya wakes up and see's herself standing in front of her, she freaks out. Jim explains that there's nothing wrong, Anya got what she wanted and he now has a different way to have fun. But Anya doesn't see the humor in their situation. She doesn't want some "snot-nosed brat" wandering around with her body, ruining her reputation. Now angry that his fun has been ruined, Jim does grant her wish and turns her into a man. However, as payment, he decides to take her eyesight so she can no longer be entranced by Esmeralda's dancing or beauty.

Heres the (not so) finished fairy rapunstrid video! This was originally going to be 1:20 long and I had all of the clips fully planned, then I cut it down to this length because I wasnt feeling inspired enough for the longer one, and now Im still not inspired enough to finish some of the manips. BUT Im still proud of how the rest came out so I dont want this to waste away on my computer anymore. Theres about 6 unfinished/unstarted manips (I marked them in the video) but hopefully youll still get a general idea of what I was going for.

And it is finally finished! Wow this took a lot longer than anticipated, especially all of the manips that involve a full view of the demon, but thats what I get for getting super ambitious with my designs xD

Storyline: Rapunzel has been battling her inner demons for most of her life. Locked away in a tower, deprived of love, or any other kind of positive interaction, she is constantly being emotionally abused by Gothel. Useless, worthless, and a waste of space, are all phrases she has grown accustomed to hearing Gothel use to describe her. While younger, she could always brush these insults off, but as the years have worn her down, she has slowly begun to believe them. Her inner demon uses this opportunity to claw its way to the surface. Her inner angel does its best to convince her otherwise, but Rapunzel feels that the world would be better off without her. The demon continues to pressure her as she steps towards the balconys edge.
Now, do it...
The angel is quick to jump after Rapunzel, catching her mid-fall, and gently lowering her to the ground where she finally breaks down. When the demon follows to continue tormenting Rapunzel, the angel intercepts, banishing the demon to the depths of Rapunzels mind. Although the demon wont be gone forever, Rapunzels mind hasnt been this clear or at peace in years.
Note: In my mind there is at least 2 ways to interpret this part (more specifically Punzies jump from her tower). It can be taken in a literal sense, where Rapunzel did attempt suicide and actually leapt from the physical tower. But it can also be taken in a metaphorical sense, where Rapunzels jump from her tower is actually her falling down towards her lowest possible state of mind. In other words, shes reaching rock bottom and rather than crashing down to the ground, the angel softens the blow.

Happy New Year everyone! :D
I hope everyone had wonderful holidays! Here is my deaf edit for KristinArt_18s Moon Revenge mep. Growing up, Sailor Moon was my JAM and I still find myself watching it every so often. When I saw a mep with opened with this theme, I jumped at the opportunity (even though 2D isnt my forte) I ended up redoing most of the manips at least once so this part took a whole lot longer than I expected. Theres still a couple things that I kinda wanna fix, but I feel like they arent horrible mistakes and I really wanted to get this finished for New Years so Ill just pretend I dont see them xD Overall Im super proud of this, especially since some of the manips have bits of animation that I did myself.

Im only waiting on one more part for this mep so I was trying really hard to wait and post this after the final mep is up. Buuuut I cracked because Im too excited xD I do feel like some of the flashback colorings are slightly off and the masking/tracking of some characters during the flashback bar scenes are a little off too (especially when I swapped Hans and Flynns heads with their bodies from different scenes) But overall Im really happy with how this part came out!

Storyline: Rapunzel and Elsa are a couple and they have a wonderful relationship, all but for one thing. Elsa is an alcoholic and is constantly going to the pub to get drunk. Almost everyday, Punzie either has to go to the pub to bring a drunk Elsa home or care for her girlfriend when Elsa manages to wander home herself. She hates seeing Elsa in that kind of state and yet she cant find it in herself to end the relationship.
One day Elsa is at the pub much later than usual and, in her drunken stupor, mistakes a random girl named Anna for Rapunzel. She begins openly flirting with and complimenting Anna, like she usually would with Punzie, and starts getting too close for comfort. Annas boyfriend, who is speaking to Annas brother at the bar, notices Elsas advances. Being drunk himself, he is instantly filled with rage at the notion of someone moving in on his girl. At this moment, Rapunzel is making her way into the bar to take her drunk girlfriend home. She notices Hans grabbing a nearby empty bottle and raising it above his head. Before any thoughts even process, shes already running. She pushes Elsa out of the way right as the bottle comes crashing down. It shatters on her head, the trauma killing her within moments.
Now as a ghost, tied to the bar as the place of her death, Rapunzel can only watch as Elsa continues to drink her sorrows away, repeating the simple motion over and over.

This is one of my parts for the draw with me mep that I am co-hosting with my lovely friend Hannah! ;) The theme of this mep, and the original animation, are lovers separated by an unbreakable glass (which is meant to symbolize long distance relationships).

Storyline: Astrid and Rapunzel are lovers separated by an unbreakable glass. Although they cant be together on the same side, they still are happily together and plan to be together the rest of their lives. Some days, though, they do feel a little discouraged due to the distance, Astrid especially. She wants nothing more than to be able to pull her Punzie into a hug and never let go. On days where shes feeling a little down, Punzie knows exactly how to cheer her baby up with some casual flirting ;)
