A Hibiscus Turret Bee (Ptilothrix bombiformis) flies into and then out of a ground nest in the trail at the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center, in Houston, TX, USA. The entrance to the nest has a small ring of debris around it resembling a chimney or turret.
