Premise: A small crew of Indie filmmakers must complete a film within 48 hours for the 48 hour film project. As the deadline draws near, tensions mount between the director (James Liakos playing against type) and two actresses cast to play witches ➨

FUN FACTS
HEX was 99% improvised. The slap was very real and very approved. The actresses cast to play witches are actually real witches (Wiccans). They wanted to wrap early (to party) which increased tension, so we played into it. Docs-style parts (mainly first two thirds) was shot with an iPhone. The ending was shot with a Canon T4i. Budget involved twenty-dollars for a flash drive and a tomato. The film was edited in 4.5 hours on FCPX (Final Cut Pro X).
