Hershey is thought by many as the home of chocolate, but to football fans, it may mean something different.

In the 1950s and 1960s, Hershey was the training camp destination for several NFL teams, including the Eagles, Steelers, Los Angeles Rams and Dallas Texans.

“That's when the NFL was still small enough to where it was reliant on a place like Hershey, Pennsylvania," sports columnist Mike Vaccaro said.
