Each time you remember something a false memory forms... and today, Ali and I take you through what the science of false memory is - their downsides, and situations where we may actually want to generate false memories!
We take you through the famous studies by Loftus on the formation of false memories, as well as more recent studies by Susumu Tonegawa into optogenetics.
