Here’s what may well be a first - a sampler pedal/effect controlled by a string attached to the headstock of a guitar.
We’ve been following Yann Seznec’s progress developing this granular synth/sampler unit - the playback is controlled by pulling a thin red cord mounted to the top of the unit (you can just make it out as the camera zooms in) - and are very excited about this unusual approach.
Things have certainly taken a turn for the (even) weird(er) with this latest concept.
What effect would you like to see with gestural control (wah controlled by moving the guitar perhaps?), and is this something you’d want to try on your pedalboard?

Tied the string to the head of the guitar! Now all it needs is an actual guitarist 😅
