Hercules "The Action Game" is based on the Disney movie "Hercules", just as the movie is based on the legend...sounds like a recipe for disaster, but to be fair this is a good game - damn good ! It seems Virgin Entertainment managed to make some good Disney games, as they were also behind The Jungle Book and The Lion King, so this one turned out just as good. It follows the movie pretty well: the levels, the enemies and themes are all based on the movie and it even uses some voices clips taken right from it, most famously Danny DeVito as Philoctetes - the satyr who follows Herc in the training levels and nags you for making mistakes or wasting time. They even included cutscenes from the film and they look really good for the time, though I wish they would've included more of the 5 muses, particularly the "Zero to Hero" song, which was like the highlight of the whole movie. As Hercules, your job is simple: get to the end of each level while fighting enemies. Standing in your way are all sorts of enemies, traps and even bosses you'll have to fight, like the Centaur, the Cyclops and of course Hades himself at the end. The majority of the levels are standard side-scrolling levels, but there are also third-person auto-scrolling levels, where you can't stop or turn around and you have to constantly steer Herc around the obstacles and enemies that come towards you. You have a lot of attacks: Herc can punch, uppercut, and use a variety of swords which you collect along the way. Controlling Herc is OK, although I do feel like there's a slight delay when trying to steer yourself in mid air after jumping or leaping off a ledge. Other than that, no problems: it's really easy to move Herc around and beat the sh!t out of everything you come across. The animation on the characters is well done and the levels are very well detailed, my favorite in particular being the Thebes level. Each level has hidden letters which spell the word "HERCULES". They act as the continue feature, so if you find them all and somehow lose all your lives, you get to try again from the last level you reached, rather than having to start from level. They're usually hidden inside holes in the ground which you access by jumping in place and hitting "down" in mid air. After 3 stomps the ground caves in, revealing a hidden area with goodies. Speaking of which, other items include the "Herculade" drink which replenishes your health, the Hercules action figure which extends your life bar, 3 types of swords (lightning, fire and tornado), an invincibility helmet which makes you immune to damage from enemies and finally urns which represent pieces of the password for the next level - there are 4 of these in each level. Find them all and you'll get the password for that level. On the PSx you also have the option to save your game after each level, whereas on the PC you have to rely solely on the password system. I would've liked the game to follow the movie a bit closer as far as the bosses are concerned: in the movie, Hercules kills the Hydra by punching the side of a mountain, causing rocks to collapse onto the monster. You don't get to do this in the game - you just keep slicing off the Hydra's heads until its energy is drained and a boulder drops onto it automatically. Then there's the Cyclops, another pretty disappointing level: you just get to the end of an auto-scrolling level and you get to watch the scene from the movie where Herc defeats the Cyclops by throwing a flaming stick into his eye. That was some proper violence for a Disney movie - wouldn't it awesome if you got to do that in the game yourself ? The best of all the bosses is probably the centaur: you drain his life by jumping on his back and riding him and also uppercutting him right in the face when you win, like Herc did in the movie - so satisfying ! Also, although this is REALLY nitpicking now, how about being able to play as other characters, not just Hercules ? I know there's not much they could have done for Meg or Phil in the game, but seeing how they took some creative liberties by having Herc fight the Medusa, they could've probably come up with something (in greek mythology, Perseus is the one who fights Medusa, not Herc). A bit of trivia here, this game came out in 1997; 2 years later, in 1999, another Disney game hit the scene: Tarzan The Action Game. It's very similar in terms of gameplay to Hercules and it actually has other playable characters from the film, so we could cut Hercules some slack as far as the characters are concerned, since it came before Tarzan, thus allowing the producers to know what flaws should be ironed over in the future. Other than that, the game is awesome: great graphics, great soundtracks, nice sound effects, smooth controls and most importantly Danny DeVito ! Try it out !

![Neighbours From Hell PC Walkthrough : Season 1 (100% All Episodes) [HD]
FACEBOOK : https://www.facebook.com/DanielsGameVault
Neighbours From Hell is a popular PC game released by JoWood. Its about a guy named Woody who plays all kinds of pranks on his neighbour, Mr. Rottweiler. To do this, Woody infiltrates the neighbours house (along with a TV crew apparently) and uses various objects he comes across to set up traps ranging from classic (whoopee cushions, banana peels, soap and marbles on the floor) to the most devious, such as superglue in aftershave, laxatives in beer and red wine in the washing machine, just to name a few. The goal in each level (or episodes as theyre referred to) is to reach a certain rating before you can advance to the next one. Ideally, you want the rating to be 100%. Whenever the neighbour falls into one of the traps Woody has set, the rating goes up by an amount. Rottweilers anger meter in the bottom left also goes up all the way before slowly going back down. If he walks into another trap before the meter depletes you get a combo bonus, which adds an extra 3% to the rating. There is a maximum number of tricks you can pull off in each episode, indicated in the bottom right, in yellow. If the rating has already reached the minimum value required to beat the level, you can actually leave the house without pulling off every single trick and the level still counts as complete. If you fail to reach the minimum rating, you have to replay the episode. Another way of failing an episode is getting caught by the neighbour himself: if Woody and Rottweiler end up in the same room, the levels over, regardless of the rating at that point. Woody can hide in the wardrobe or under the bed in order to avoid getting busted by Rottweiler when he steps into that room. Of course, if you get out from these hiding spots while Rottweiler is still in the room, the jig is up and Woody gets his @$$ handed to him. Another thing to watch out for is the neighbours pet parrot or dog, which show up in seasons 2 and 3 respectively: if you step into the room like you normally would, the pet wakes up and alerts the neighbour and he will rush in to check whats going on, regardless of where he is in the house. If you get out of the room before the neighbour comes in, no problem: he just walks in, realizes theres nobody there, scolds the pet for the false alarm and carries on with his routine. Its not always good to wake the animal, as it may distract the neighbour from a trap hes just about to walk in, which could disrupt your combo. The parrot and dog never show up together in the same episode - its either one or the other, although the room they are in varies between episodes. To avoid waking the pet entirely use the right mouse button instead of the left when giving Woody a command in that room: this makes Woody sneak instead of walk, which wont wake up the pet, but also slows you down considerably ! The early episodes only include a part of the neighbours house, but as the game progresses more rooms open up, which means more ground to cover and more traps to set. Some rooms have 2 or even 3 doorways, which makes avoiding the neighbour easy, but others like the bathroom or the basement, have only one way out, so you could find yourself stuck in a dead end as the neighbour comes in and whoops your @$$. To get a 100% rating the tricks have to be played in a specific order so you get as many anger-combos as possible. Some levels are linear, so you can simply set the traps in the order in which the neighbour goes through his routine and just sit back and watch. In later levels, the neighbour wanders all around the house, so you must set up your tricks on the fly an know exactly the best moment for each one. Aside from getting caught by the neighbour, another way of failing a level is by running out of time. The time limit varies depending on the number of tricks and the complexity of each episode. Fortunately, you have the option to turn off the time limit entirely if you cant seem to beat it. The timer definitely adds challenge to the game, as you have to analyze the neighbours patterns and rig up his house all in one go, which is not easy, especially if you havent played the game before ! Once you know where and when to set up the traps, you can pretty much get 100% each time you play, because theres no difficulty settings you can alter and Rottweilers routine never changes. With that being said, the game is really awesome and addictive as hell (pun intended), but unfortunately its a bit too short for my taste. Understandably, the game is limited to the neighbours house, so there were only so many situations they could imagine the two characters in. The good news is that theres a sequel: Neighbours from Hell 2, which takes place all around the world, instead of just Rottweilers house, which definitely offers more possibilities. Bottom line is that the game is great and just damn-fun to play ! Try it out - youll be hooked for sure ! NOTE: I dont know if I put the right guy in the title, so feel free to correct me :))
After a month without any new videos, Danny is back in action (now with a college degree as well ! :)) ). During my time off, I received quite a few emails from people asking me to play their games, so I dont know in which order they came - I just picked one at random and it happened to be this one : Weird Islands by Avoid Gamer (the same guy who made, you guessed it, The Avoid World). Its your average Mario Forever fan game: nothing really stands out or is worth mentioning, neither good nor bad. It plays OK, there are generally no bugs, the graphics are there, the soundtracks (amazingly) are at the right volume and the difficulty is not terrible. The only thing that needs to be fixed is the boss battle, where the controls suddenly go from whatever you set them in the options menu to CTRL and SHIFT. At least the game lets you know of this right away by having a warning message above the battle arena, but it shouldnt happen at all. Thats about it for this one: a basic game, perfectly suitable for me after such a long period of inactivity, as it helped me get back into the vault-y mood :)) Catch you guys next time with....well, Ill let you guys sleep on that one just to tease you :P :)) Mario Forever - Weird Islands by Avoid Gamer Walkthrough [HD]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/2pJdowynb60/mqdefault.jpg)

SONIC : I go swimming in Labyrinth Zone, a water world. Whenever I go underwater I have a limited supply of air, so you have to find air bubbles in order to keep me alive. The rush music you hear when I run out of air is iconic. Danny also helped.

Here are the two bonus levels bundled with Great Bowsers Castle, so we can officially put this game to rest. Actually only one of these can be considered a bonus level - the other one, World Minus 1-4 is taken from The Minus Worlds with little to no changes, so we shouldnt even include it here, but I figured I might as well. See you guys in the next series and, as always, be sure to keep those suggestions coming. Cheers. After a very long streak of Mario Forever games, I thought Id play something else for a change and give Jazz Jackrabbit 2 another go. I did make a series of it before, but it remained one of my lesser-known ones, so I eventually ended up removing it entirely since it wasnt getting enough views and was just cluttering up the channel. I did it in my early days, even before my channel was known as DGV, so it was no longer up to standards: the videos were low quality and spread out over many short vids, one for each level in fact ! Now that my channel has grown a bit, Ill try reviving it just to see how well it appeals to the public and also to change the pace a bit, as were probably getting a little bored with Mario by now and some variety is in order. I might even go back and do the original DOS game again as well, since that one is split up into a ridiculous number of individual vids and they all kinda suck, so this is also a perfect opportunity to clean up and reorganize The Game Vault a bit. Let me know what you guys think and whether you want to see more. Danny out. Jazz Jackrabbit 2 PC Walkthrough (Ep. 3 - Flashback) [HD]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/4DPZjZNcSNY/mqdefault.jpg)
