Maggie's Farm is an evolving folk-rock group. When I first started seeing them in late '24, they were a cover band that had a couple of promising originals. Each time I've seen them, they've improved. Now they do mostly their own music, which is excellent, and they've recently added a drummer who has helped anchor the group.

They play every 3rd Sunday afternoon at the Friendly Tap in Berwyn and every 1st Saturday afternoon at Bobby's Eastside in Forest Park. Maggies Farm are: Phil Bayer / guitar, Ingrid / Shimnoski / Violin, Gary Cleland / Bass, Mike Smoocha / Mandolin , Mark Cavanagh / Drums
