It was an interesting combination at Fitzgerald's for the song of the month event on 2/25/25. There was Gerald Dowd one of the busiest drummers. he's appeared on over 100 albums and averaging 150 live dates a year. A classically trained percussionist, he's comfortable in a wide range of musical styles, from jazz to kids music. Rachel Swain on the other hand is a Texas gal transplanted to Chicago. She is, along with her father, part of a honky tonk band called the Swains. They each did a solo set then did a set together.
