On Monday, May 26, 2025, just before midnight, officers found a man lying in an alley behind a business on Merrill Road near Townsend Boulevard. The man was dead; he had been run over by a car. We immediately began investigating who hit him and uncovered this surveillance footage showing the vehicle we believe ran him over: a white mid-size SUV.
The victim was 40-year-old Brandon Venegas. He was a beloved son, brother, friend, and a father to a young girl. Please help us identify the driver in this hit-and-run so we can bring justice to Venegas’s loved ones.
