When your loved one goes missing, our team doesn’t hesitate to use all our available resources to bring them home safe.

On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, we were called to locate a missing 67-year-old woman in District 6.

K9 Ruger was able to lead our detectives in the right direction during the search, and our Missing Person Unit then located the woman using our specialized technology. She was brought back home safely in less than an hour; had the search gone on any longer, she could have suffered a heat-related injury.

The woman is diagnosed with Dementia and has been reported missing several times in the past. Her family has worked alongside our Missing Person Unit detectives to take advantage of our scent jar and tracker programs, speeding up our search for their loved one.

If your loved one is prone to wandering off, please use the resources we have available to you for free at JaxReady.com. If they do go missing, do not wait to call 911. The faster you call us for help, the faster we can begin our search,
