Anil Mahato | Help me to Buy food for Nepal Earthquake Survivors @AnilMahato | Uploaded April 2015 | Updated October 2024, 4 hours ago.
On 25th of April, 2015, Nepal had a very big 7.9 Richter scale Earthquake followed by 25 + aftershocks, which has taken over 4000 lives and over 30,000 people are injured.Thousands of people are homeless. Luckily, my family in Nepal is safe but still there is fear of when and what will happen next.
There is a huge lack of food & drinking water because people have to stay outside on streets and on open spaces. It has happened so because they have lost their houses as well as they need to save themselves from aftershocks which have been coming for the last 3 days.
Situation is getting worse and worse. That's why lots of International volunteering organizations have started their help.
I am not a big person, I am just an average guy. I can't make a huge difference but I would like to do what I can do with your help. I and my school friends in Kathmandu have made a small campaign for feeding survivors of earthquake who have lost everything. But for making this campaign successful, we need you and your help. I am raising some funds online along with Shakti's Melody (Stalybridge, England). We will be cooking and distributing Rice, Lentil soup and cooked vegetables along with drinking water in Kathmandu.
