Systems-based combat that rewards wild combos, paced by a red-heavy hellscape you'll want to leave occasionally.
Hellsweeper VR hands you a pistol, a sword, fire and frost magic, and a hellhound called Dexter, then asks how creatively you can combine them against waves of demons. Mixed Realms' Quest roguelike goes big on systems — slam a fireball into your pistol to set the bullets alight, pick up a dropped gun telekinetically and fire it mid-air — and pairs it with fluid wall-runs, double jumps and slow-mo kills. Co-op is limited to a single act at launch, but the single-player combat Sandbox is one of the strongest on the platform.
