The Helixa precision torque tester is ideally suited to measuring low and medium level torque on a variety of delicate or finely-engineered products. The sensitivity of its torque cell and precise alignment of gripping fixtures combine to ensure optimum test repeatability, making the Helixa ideal for checking high quality assemblies found in the cosmetics, microelectronics, automotive, pharmaceutical and medical industries -- everything from lipstick barrels, luer locks, insulin pens, miniature torsion springs through to high performance bearings.
The Helixa is fitted with a counterbalancing mechanism, which allows the removal of axial force, whilst also enabling the application of precise top-load when required. The Helixa's drive spindle can be user-aligned for precise concentricity with a range of interchangeable intelligent torque cells, which are quick to fit and are auto-detected by Emperor™ control software to prevent damage to the torque cell during installation of fixtures and test set up. The Helixa accepts interchangeable intelligent torque cells for measurement from just a few mN.m up to 6 N.m
