The weight on the bar is only half the battle 🧠

Heavy lifting isn't just physical—it's a mental challenge. Every time I approach a heavy set, there's a voice in my head asking: "Can I really move this weight?"

And honestly? That doubt is completely normal.

Having a healthy respect (even a little fear) for heavy weight means you're taking it seriously. It means you're present and focused, which is exactly what you need to lift safely and effectively.

Here's the truth: You won't know what you can't lift until you actually try.

That's the whole point of progressive overload. You show up, you respect the weight, you manage the doubt, and you find out what you're capable of.

The mental demand is real. The doubt is normal. And pushing through it is what makes you stronger—both physically and mentally.
