Heavy Gear (1997), Activision
This game has been one of my favorite titles for a long time. This game was not officially released in Korea, but was released as a bundle with the game magazine 'Game Magazine' in 1998. It's probably the first title I've played with a genuine copy, not a demo or pirated version.
This game is an ambitious title made with the MW2 engine after Activision lost the MW license. Including the HUD and input, graphics(Titanium ver.) are almost similar to MW2, but it has changed to be closer to an action game than a simulation. If you like the combat style of steadily hitting the mechs and gradually melting armor, which was a hallmark of MW2, you probably won't like this title.
This is the first time in 26 years that I've reached the end without using cheats. Fortunately, this game has 'Tour of Duty' (similar to Instant Action in the MW series), It allows to enjoy the game for longer.

The HG1 have problem for OST output.. So I solved the OST problem by using my physical copy and USB CD-ROM.
