Who needs more cowbell when you've got synths and Heaven 17? Released in 2004, I admittedly hadn't even heard this cover until 2021 while watching an old episode of True Blood, and even then I thought it was a remix of the Apollo 440 cover until I looked it up. Still, it's a fun version and a good time.
The video features clips from an episode of the TV series "Boris Karloff's Thriller" entitled "The Grim Reaper". Yes, that is a young William Shatner hamming it up and chewing the scenery. The Grim Reaper is Episode 37 of the series. This is a public Domain Film, with original credits belonging to NBC and Hubbell Robinson Productions Copyright © 1961
