Racism costs everyone. It’s the root of the most pressing public problems affecting us all, says Heather McGhee in The Sum of Us. Chair of the Board of Directors at Color of Change, McGhee argues America’s toxic mix of racism and greed is responsible for current and historic division, destruction, and inequality. McGhee comes to CHF to share the stories she's gathered traveling across America, talking to everyday people about their hopes for a country where we can all prosper together. McGhee is joined in conversation by Helene D. Gayle, CEO of The Chicago Community Trust.
