PLEASE READ: (Lyrics & dialogue below) - FINALLY, my first Poldark video. :) Story follows lyrics, in Demelza’s POV. The “Hear me” is both her crying out for help (often silently, deep within her soul)- and (usually) silently crying out for Ross to see her as more than the servant he’s made her into. She soon falls in love with her master, but he never sees her as more than his maid, until one day, he does see her/treat her as more, and once he does, then he must learn to “hear” her in other ways. The end is the culmination of all that. :) I mainly used the first 4 eppies since they cover the song better, but also some that came after that. some symbolism - the puff of smoke toward the beginning is symbolic of her hopes/dreams blossoming out but fading away like smoke.

R: She appears to be more trouble than she’s worth.
