Journey to Viet Nam: 17th Annual Healing and Reconciliation Journey with Psychotherapist, Author, and Ed Tick:
Exotic travel, Eastern spirituality, and Healing trauma...
From October 31 to November 14, 2017, Soldier’s Heart co-founders Ed Tick (psychotherapist and author of "War and the Soul" and "The Practice of Dream Healing") and Kate Dahlstedt (psychotherapist, group leader, writer) will co-lead the 17th annual Healing and Reconciliation Journey to VietNam.
Everyone is welcome to join on this trip to explore some deeply archetypal themes!
What every traveler experiences is extraordinarily deep and remarkably quick and penetrating healing of PTSD, reports Ed Tick. Tick has led this journey of healing and reconciliation to Viet Nam for 16 consecutive years.
Some of the veterans on the journey who have experienced symptoms of PTSD for 35 or 40 years due to the Vietnam war experience those symptoms disappearing and healing over the two or two-and-a-half weeks that they spend in Vietnam, Tick reports.
The group does process work as they travel, including dreamwork and work with veterans and other survivors to process their material as the journey goes along.
Who Should Consider This Journey to Viet Nam: Therapists who want to learn more about spiritual and holistic healing of trauma, spiritual seekers go because Viet Nam is a very spiritual place; and the group interacts very deeply with the Vietnamese people, who welcome and honor them.
Immerse yourself in the wonderful people, culture, country and spirituality of the real Viet Nam, along with healing old war wounds; achieving forgiveness and reconciliation between American and Vietnamese vets and civilians; helping rebuild Viet Nam as we heal Americans; and practicing the healing of deep trauma.
The journey will include several days in Ho Chi Minh City, the Mekong Delta, and in Hanoi, among other locations.
Ed and Kate are offering $100 off for Depth Psychology Alliance members!
