The Russian president Vladimir Putin just held his annual live press conference with Russian journalists and the Russian people, known as the Direct Line. Bluntly, it's all more of a giant Z propaganda show where Putin answers selected heavily vetted questions. Among many of these, one question was asked by the Belarusian YouTuber Vlad A4, also known as the Russian MrBeast clone. Putin was asked about Russia banning YouTube and if it's really going to end up happening. Putin's response was that Google is actually at fault for making YouTube not work in Russia. HUGE SHOCKER: Vladimir Putin lied and was proven wrong by Russian authorities themselves right after the press conference ended. All of this, of course, is a pattern of behaviour for Russia's president. Why does Putin always lie and how does he do it? Let's look at it and decode it based on this one example.
