It's been a while - almost 3 years ago I left Russia. I first moved to Georgia, and now I live in Lisbon, Portugal. As a Russian citizen who left Russia, it wasn't really an easy task to pull off. So far, I've enjoyed my life in Lisbon - but there is one major issue: Portugal is currently in a huge bureaucratic immigration crisis, and I still haven't received my EU residency / ID card, which restricts me from traveling and several other things. It hasn't affected me too well. So, what happened and why am I having EU visa issues again? And how did I manage to get stuck in another Kafkaesque process inside Europe?
