It’s easy to be a bystander when we see something questionable going on. We think that if something was really wrong, someone else would have acted…or we see no one doing anything and assume we must be interpreting the situation the wrong way.
We hesitate to offer help out of fear of being wrong, embarrassing ourselves, or even putting ourselves in danger.
