World Of Battles: Morningstar is a free to play massively multiplayer online real-time strategy (MMORTS) wargame in a fantasy setting. The game was developed and published by the same company Frogwares.

Morningstar takes players to a fierce mythical land where chaos is the norm and humans struggle against ghastly beasts. In this realm, players will grow their army with over 80 unique units, forming alliances and engaging in fierce single and multiplayer battles, with support for up to 8-player PVP.

Players can choose their race from 8 different options, each with specialized units and their own unique advantages and disadvantages (These eight races are aligned with three factions: Good, Neutral and Evil):

4.Savage Barbarians

Players can invent their own winning tactics on the battlefield by combining cavalry charges, defense, ranged support, flanking and back-attacks. Using units' abilities and formations in real time. This is just as crucial as your pre-battle planning.

Victories yield both experience and gold; customize your army with new units, equipment and items and see it reflected both in their stats and their appearance on the battlefield. Your Leader supports the entire army with attack spells and defensive buffs. World of Battles: Morningstar takes aim at boxed retail RTS games, requiring equal parts strategy and quick-thinking to cut down the enemy and climb the leaderboards. Tailor your army and implement a wide range of tactics, choosing from over 80 different unit types! Use Master Units' special abilities (unique to each race) to crush your opponents. Nearly endless unit and ability combinations enhance effectiveness and add strategic depth to the game.

Players can unlock and complete various single-player challenges and tasks to gain some easy gold and experience. Every challenge is specially designed to teach different battle tactics and strategies. Players can also collect an army of hundreds of amazingly detailed units. Every warrior, from holy priests to savage trolls, sports amazing attention to detail. World of Battles provides a digital version of classic tabletop war gaming miniatures, without the hassle of painting and storing your prized collection.

You can also unite your forces with other players under one banner by creating powerful Clans and take part in real time battles for the lands on the Global Map! Fight for territories with other Clans, raid provinces and get valuable resources.

Future updates will include new unit classes to expand the scale of destruction, clans and parties to bolster community interaction, and new game modes allowing even more armies in a single battle!

There are three main game modes:
1.Challenge mode:
- When you first start off it would be good to talk to the Challenge Advisor and complete the tasks beginning with the Arena mission. These missions will act as your tutorial and show you the fundamentals of World of Battles. Rock, Paper, Scissors has been replaced with Horsemen, Pikemen, and Swordsmen with archers thrown in for long-ranged support. You'll be taught to remember things like: heavy archers will destroy light archers but both will be crushed by melee. Completing these missions will also award you with experience and gold which is never a bad thing.

2.Quick Matches
- Players have one minute to place your units in formation within your sphere of influence on the map. You can also attempt to talk to your teammates and determine who will explore what portion of the map or if you just gather at a particular point. In the matches usually everyone from both sides just moved to the center and participated in a Royal Rumble. Matches are limited to 10 minutes so the battles are certainly fast-paced.

3.World Map battles:
- The third and most advanced mode of play is the World Map. This world map allows for dynamic play against rival clans. The motivation behind the map mode, besides crushing your enemies, is earning Gems. While you can earn gold through quick matches and challenge modes you can earn Gems through the World Map or through the cash shop. This is a persistent map and with an international presence there is no real downtime, you will find people to battle any time, day or night.

To prevent this free to play game from becoming pay to win there is a point-cap associated with each army. Units are assigned a point value. The stronger a unit is and the more specialized the gear it has the higher the total point cost will be for that unit. Armies will not be matched against other armies that do not have a value that is within 20% of each other.
