Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) along with Anandana, The Coca-Cola India Foundation, State Pollution Control Board Odisha, Y4D Foundation and supported by the Foundation for Climate Protection, Odisha Development Management Programme, and Puri Municipality, concluded its 'Used PET Bottle-Free Rath Yatra' initiative.
850,000 used PET bottles, totaling more than 17,000 kgs, were collected through dedicated zones and awareness campaigns led by our amazing 'Safai Sathis'. The initiative received a tremendous boost from the Government of Odisha, showcasing the power of collaboration between public bodies and corporate commitment towards sustainability.
Over 1000 volunteers were actively involved, engaging with pilgrims, playing a crucial role in ensuring a Used PET Bottle-Free Rath Yatra. Additionally, the festival served as a platform for educational outreach, with plays and training sessions on waste management that highlighted the importance of cleanliness in preserving our beautiful surroundings.
