#HCCB brings in significant expertise and knowhow in the areas of #watermanagement, #solidwastemanagement and #skillbuilding of the educated, unemployed. Over the past decade, #HCCB has improved #waterefficiency by over 25%, created infrastructure to #replenish 140% of the water used. We have reduced mixed waste by 80% and brought about 30% reduction in waste to landfill, from a 2019 baseline. Similarly, through our #CareerDevelopmentCenters in partnership with NIIT Foundation, we train about 5,000 youth in ways that gets them employed.
We know that this expertise is to be shared so that all #industries operating in the sector and at large, benefit from our knowhow. So in a unique initiative, we have signed an MOU with The Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Telangana to conduct capacity building programs for industries in the state. We thank Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao for being the catalyst for the idea and Jayesh Ranjan for being the sponsor.
