The Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) is working with global stakeholders to establish the International Biosecurity and Biosafety Initiative for Science (IBBIS), an independent entity dedicated to reducing emerging biological risks associated with rapid technology advances. IBBIS will strengthen international biosecurity norms and develop innovative, practical tools to reduce biological risks throughout the research and development life cycle — from funding, through execution, and on to publication or commercialization.
