Spatter is back at the south vent, and the instruments are finally coming back online! Last night, we saw the south vent firing off roughly every 10 to 15 minutes. Data from the UWD tiltmeter shows a slow inflation at the summit—recording a 0.7 microradian increase in the last 24 hours for a total of 15.3 microradians since the end of Episode 43.
With magma sitting close to the surface and gas-pistoning continuing at both the north and south vents, we are officially on pace for the Episode 44 window to open next week!
