A little bit of predictability in your life can set the stage for work you'd never have dreamed of.

Ask me anything about illustration. Leave your questions and comments in the comments or via Instagram or Twitter (links below).

Today's question comes from Ania Drozd:

"Hi Tom, did you create a specific routine to get you going every day? How do you start a new project? Motivation is fickle and getting started with self-initiated work can be painful - any tips or tricks?"

In this video, I talk about the importance of routine and talk a little bit about my specific routine. I also talk about how I get started and stay motivated through projects, and how I push through the inevitable despair that comes in the middle of every project.
