PM-R TV | Have Shots, Will Travel: Episode 3, Day 2. Fort Smith, AR to Amarillo, TX by Patrick Murphy-Racey @PMRTV | Uploaded 3 years ago | Updated 15 hours ago
Day 2 of the adventure started a little slow because I took a detour off of I-40 West and headed up I-49 to visit Bedfords Camera's corporate offices. they are really good folks and I had never seen their operation for all the sales they do outside of AR & OK. I then grbbed a quick lunch at a regional hamburger and ice cream chain called Brahm's and then headed down a twisty two-laner called The Lost Highway (AR 71). Gorgeous scenery and beautiful vistas were around every curve. I need to come back on the motorcycle for sure!!! I met an owner of an old motorcourt built in the 1930's and they are in the middle of restoring the place to better than its former glory. My last stop of the day after making some miles was at the Cattlemen's Restaurant in the Old Stockyards in Oklahoma City for a big fat juicy 16 oz. Ribeye steak with all the fixin's. DANG!!! I love that place... I stopped for the night in Amarillo, TX so I can check out the Cadillac Ranch in the morning before pushing into New Mexico and beyond.... If you are interested in the Sony ZV-1, you can get 5% off from Bedfords by using my code (PMR) at this link: bedfords.com/27242920552 or here is the link to Amazon at full price: amzn.to/3jcbHlh. See you on I-40 :)
