-the title of the song, 指切り (yubikiri) is an expression used to mean locking little fingers and making a promise - a pinky promise. however, it literally means 'finger cutting'. so go in to the song with the mindset that the promises mentioned also mean cutting fingers and everything will start to make more sense.
-(e.g. the line about showing the proof of her love and then the last line - yubikitta - which treats the phrase as a verb - so it can also be interpreted as 'I cut off my finger'.)
