Hey everyone! Sorry this hat is up late, I ran into a lot of problems with this month's hat. I ended up using a pattern from Creative Knitting Magazine, Summer 2015. It wasn't the greatest hat or video, but I didn't want to keep you guys waiting any longer. I hope you guys enjoy this one for what it is. Please leave suggestions down below in the comments for future videos.

Items Used:
Clover Bamboo Circular Interchangeable Needles size 4 (3.5mm) & 7 (4.5mm)
Caron Simply Soft Yarn in Sunshine (1 ball, 4ply med, 6oz, 170g, 315 yrds)
Red Heart Soft Yarn in Seafoam (1ball, 4ply med, 5oz, 141g, 256yrds)
Tapestry Needle
Stitch Marker

Gauge:
19 st and 24 rnds = 4" in Elastic Rib pattern, with larger needles

Sizes:
Adult's small/medium (medium/large)

Circumference:
20 3/4 (22) inches

Height:
9 (9 1/2) inches

Special Stitches:
K1b (knit 1 in the row below): insert right needle in the st 1 row below and knit, pulling st off left needle

INSTRUCTIONS
With smaller needles and yarn color for rib, cast on 92, (96) sts.
Work a 1x1 r ib (k1, p1) for 1 1/2 (2) inches.
Change to larger needles.

Incr Rnd: *K12 (10), M1; rep from * to last 8 (6) sts, K8 (6) - 99 (105) sts
Purl 1 Rnd
Work Elastic Rib pattern until piece measures 7 1/2 (8) inches from cast on edge.

Elastic Rib: (multiples of 3 sts)
Rnd 1: *K1, P2; rep from * around
Rnd 2: *K1b (insert right needle in the st 1 row below and knit, pulling st off left needle), P2; rep from * around
Rnd 3 - 10: Rep (Rnds 1 & 2) 4 times
Rnd 11: Knit
Rnd 12: Purl

Repeat Rnds 1-12 for pattern.

Shaping Crown:
Rnd 1: *K1, P2tog; rep from * around - 66 (70) sts
Rnd 2: *K1b, P1; rep from * around
Rnd 3: *K1, P1; rep around
Rnd 4: *K1b, P1; rep from * around
Rnd 5: *K1, P1; rep around
Rnd 6: *K1b, P1; rep from * around

Repeat K2tog around, every row until only 8sts remain.
Cut yarn and weave in all ends.
