The persimmon tree planted itself a few short years ago, without the help of any humans. Now it bears fruit. The fruit is too high to reach, but when it is ripe, it falls to the ground. Inside there is natural sweetness -- as well as many, many seeds. Nature provides. Conservation is just letting it.
