Old Ways Gardening and Prepping | Harvesting Some Of The Mints @OldWaysGardeningandPrepping | Uploaded June 2024 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
Hello and welcome to Old Ways Gardening and Prepping.🍀 Would like to welcome you each out to my wild backyard on this beautiful morning. It is nice and cool for now until the ball of death comes up above me. Today will be harvesting some of our mint collection. Know that I'm not going to be able to get to all of them but I'm going try to harvest as much as I can for this morning.
We absolutely love growing and using mint. It is such a wonderful culinary as well as medicinal plant to have in your garden. It is easy to contain mint as long as you keep your eyes on it. It is a wonderful addition to hot toddies as well as just a tea for when you are feeling under the weather.
Heading back to the old ways of gathering and air drying the mint. You can hang up to dry or you can use a dehydrator it is completely up to you. The main thing is grow as much as you can so you can stock back for the winter months and for what else is coming down the pike.
Hope this video encourages you to not only grow mint but also dry it for your own consumption at a later date. If you have any questions please feel free to ask them in the comment section below I will answer them as soon as possible. Everyone take care and have a blessed day. ❤🍀🦉
Blessings,
Teresa 🦉
