In this video, we're gonna get together and paint a farewell to 2016 and a greeting to 2017. This is a super simple painting that is perfect for the absolute beginner! Happy New Year, everyone! Thank you for making 2016 an awesome one ♥

I’m painting on a 12x16-inch stretched canvas, but you can paint on any type and size of canvas you like.

I used:
• A 1-inch flat brush
• 1/2-inch angle brush
• 1/4-inch angle brush
• Small filbert
• Chalk or watercolor pencil
• Matte Medium (optional)

I’m using Liquitex Basics acrylic paint in the following colors:
• Titanium White
• Dioxazine Purple
• Yellow Oxide (or Ochre)
• Primary Red
• Primary Blue
• Cadmium Yellow Deep Hue
• Mars Black
But you can use any colors you like.
